Several Animals are Friends to Humans. Develop nice homes for Wild Animals to create a friendly ecosystem. There are complications. A nice home for one Animal is a nice home for another Animal. It is better to make it available, hope it is fine and avoid problems by being nice.
Animals are thinking and feeling Creatures. There is a belief that Animals do not remember past events and go on with life without thinking about anything.
This is incorrect. As a Person who has Pets and walks through the forests, Animals have thoughts and make plans. Plans seem simple to Humans. Digging a hole into a tree or ground, it seems natural. It takes effort to decide to alter terrain, so it is appealing. There is also an assessment of terrain to identify if it has food and shelter.
It is possible to make livable habits around a home to make an area desirable to specific Animals. Wild Animals who enjoy living near to Humans and Humans enjoy living near to Wild Animals, are: Lizards, Foxes, Birds, Rodents (Squirrel), Amphibians, Insects and Spiders. Insects are Spiders are important. They are the food sources for the Larger Animals who protect people from Larger Animals.
Dogs, Cats and Farm Animals are different from Wild Animals. Domestic Animals are under the care of Humans. There is a stronger bond. Farm Animals are primarily to ensure food availability.
Dogs and Cats could be Wild Animals. Society is making it impossible for Dogs and Cats to be free. I understand Animal Control needing to tranquilize a Bear or Wolf. I do not understand why a Dog or Cat must be Prisoner for walking around in a city.
Some People encourage Cats to live within cities by leaving cat food in the yard. It attracts Cats to defend the neighborhood from Rats. Though most are Pets, several can be as free to live as a Squirrel, Dove, Pigeon or Rabbit. Dogs must die, instead of, being set free on a wildlife reserve. It does not matter if they are larger enough to be threatening to Humans. This should change.
Lizards and Snakes need heating and cooling. They are Cold-Blooded Animals. This does not mean they are conniving. They need outside resources to maintain body heat. Gray stones or stones with ash are best for summer. Temperature is sustainable and comfortable for most Reptiles. Black, igneous and smooth stones retain heat through the winter, so Reptiles are able to maintain a body heat.
Lizards also need cooling. A pond, fountain or bucket of water acts as a method of bathing, balancing internal temperature and drinking. For this exchange, Lizards eat varieties of sizes of venomous and nonvenomous Insects and Spiders.
In a yard, Lizards should be closer to home. A bed of rocks in piles of ash or dark stones with a plant for shade around water is attractive to Lizards. It should be easy to refill the pond. It does not have to be deep or wide.
Foxes live in huts. These huts are natural. A Fox will modify its surroundings. They need a hiding place and obvious territory. It is made of branches covering hole they dug or another Animal dug. They often hunt Borrowing Animals and enjoy privacy. They do not want to scare Prey. A fox den should be on a distant corner of a yard.
Birds eat Insects and Spiders. There are a wide variety of Birds. They eat different foods. Seeds are a basic food for most birds. Sunflowers have seeds to attract Birds in migration. Flowers have pollen to attract Bees. Fruit baring trees attract worms. To have a thriving Bird population let the fruit ripen and fall for two years. One the third year, the Farmer's Almanac lists dates to spray blossoms with pesticide, the food is eatable to a Human. One Mature Tree produces enough fruit to eat, freeze and can.
Provide Trees and Bushes with loose needles and leaves on branches to build nests. Most Spiders prefer hiding in compact hedges. Birds eat Spiders. With one airy and one compact bush, an entire ecosystem has a foundation to flourish.
Insects are important to both. A regular lawn is fine. It should be a few feet from the home. Make a bed of rocks, flower bed or hedges. Larger Trees should be planted away from the home. Ants love plants with thorns. Plant Roses on the outer perimeter of a yard. Placement affects how everyone interacts with each other.
Rodents blend into most environments. Squirrels need acorns. Nuts trees are good. Rodents living near the ground and need plants with large thick leaves. One plant is food and shelter. Large leaves provide shade and evaporating water in summer. The leaves fold over to form a hut to keep temperatures above freezing in the winter. It hides them from predators. A few modification make it possible to collect rain water for drinking.
Amphibians prefer deep, clean water. This means running water that empties into a basin. They need algae and other small plants to attract flies and small insects. They are able to eat medium-sized Insects and Spiders. They need bait and ability to hide from Prey.
An attractive environment for Frogs is in underground streams and ponds with light for algae. Having Frogs in a natural environment is as easy as not poisoning the ground. Attract them to the surface with a fountain. Do not clean the water with chemicals. Plant a couple water crest and large leafy plants around the edges and Frogs will be happy. The pond has to be deep enough that it does not freeze to the bottom. Lizards do not swim below ice during winter. Frogs are able to live underwater.
Insects and Spiders roam freely. Lifespans and breeding is abundant. Without these modifications around a home or city, Insects and Spiders rule the world. They have preferences. After spawning clouds of Insects and Spiders fly through the air and live wherever they land.
One Spider can herd a large number of Insects. They travel together, so not constantly spraying insecticides establishes cordiality. It is good to move them outside. They only stay outside when it is as nice as inside.
Homes are similar to caves. They also offer many of the conveniences. There is a fair temperature. There is defense against Animals, such as, Birds. Pets assist in protecting the interior of a home. Without a wind blowing and rain cleaning the floor, it is important to maintain a home by removing dirt and protecting air sources from contamination. To live harmoniously with nature, there might be a few awkward nights of meditation to feel at home when sharing territory with Wild Animals.
