Waldorf Salad for Home

Waldorf salad is naturally highlighted with sweetness and tang to balance flavors. Once you try it, you will want to stop making salads any other way.

Ingredients:
1/4 Head of Lettuce
1/2 Pound of Baby Spinach
1/2 Cup of Thinly Sliced Red Onion
1 Apple Chopped Finely
1/2 Cup of Diced Sharp Cheddar
2 1/2 of Chopped Walnuts
1 Tablespoon of White Wine Vinegar
Dash of Salt

Get a large bowl with a lid. Tear the lettuce and spinach into bite-sized pieces and prepare the other ingredients. Place all of the ingredients into the bowl. Secure the lid onto the bowl and shake vigorously until mixed together. Plate the salad and add which ever salad dressing you have on hand. If you aren't sure of a salad dressing, I have a preference for peppercorn ranch.

There you go. It is the perfect summer treat and easy to make: tear, slice, shake and serve. It is ready in minutes and the best tasting snack you will ever eat.
