However, thoughtful gifts have a greater impact, because they remind women of when someone cared or paid attention.

Buying clothing for a woman is a losing cause. Jewelry and lingerie are good gifts because they only wear them rarely or in private. These gifts remind them of how much they care about you. If you must buy clothing for a woman, give her a gift certificate to her favorite store or go shopping together. Remember to buy a cheap bobble: plastic ring, flower or key chain. The memento brings about fond memories of shopping.

Women enjoy expensive gifts. On special holidays buy something nice or go out to dinner. Buy an inexpensive gift to mark the occasion.
